Privacy Policy

How the Warmcorner Pinterest connector handles your data.

Effective 31 August 2026 · Last updated 31 August 2026

Who we are

Warmcorner (“we”, “us”) operates warmcorner.ai and the Warmcorner Pinterest connector — an MCP (Model Context Protocol) integration that lets an AI assistant work with your Pinterest account on your instruction.

This policy explains what the connector accesses, why, and what happens to it. It applies only to the connector and this site. Pinterest's own handling of your data is governed by the Pinterest Privacy Policy.

What the connector accesses

When you authorise the connector through Pinterest's OAuth screen, you choose which permissions to grant. Depending on that choice, it may access:

The connector requests the narrowest set of Pinterest scopes needed for the actions you ask for. It does not access other people's private data, direct messages, or payment information.

How your data is handled

The connector runs in your own environment. It is a local MCP server: your OAuth token and any Pinterest data it retrieves stay on the machine or workspace where you run it, and API requests go directly from there to Pinterest.

We do not operate a server that receives, stores, or proxies your Pinterest content, and we do not maintain a copy of your token.

Because processing is local, retention is determined by your own environment — the AI client you use, its conversation history, and any files you choose to save. Removing the connector and revoking its Pinterest access ends its ability to reach your account.

What we do not do

Third parties

Two parties are necessarily involved when you use the connector:

Pinterest
Receives the API calls the connector makes on your behalf, under the Pinterest Privacy Policy.
Your AI provider
The assistant you connect (for example Claude, ChatGPT, or another MCP client) processes the content of your requests and the results returned, under that provider's own privacy policy.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so.

Your choices and rights

Security

OAuth tokens are credentials and should be treated like passwords. The connector does not transmit your token anywhere other than Pinterest. You are responsible for the security of the environment where you run it — keep credential files private and do not commit them to source control.

Children

The connector is not directed at children under 13, and Pinterest requires account holders to meet its own minimum age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where practical, note the change here. Continued use of the connector after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
